“Shane Stewart Memorial Junior Wrestling Tournament”
When: Saturday, March 14, 2015 – 9:00 A.M.
Registration and Weigh In: Friday, March 14 6:00 - 8:30 PM NO SATURDAY WEIGH IN
Satellite weigh in, E-mail roster with actual weight and weight class to JVFarms@thinair.net by Friday 8:30 PM conformation will be sent. Only one check per team required payment for satellite weigh ins.
All wrestlers must check in and pay by 7:30 AM Sat morning, if not checked in you will be dropped
Doors open at 6:00 am
Location: HIGHLAND HIGH SCHOOL – WEST GYM
208 W. 1st Ault, Colorado
Entry Fee: $20.00 per wrestler
Wrestlers will be allowed to wrestle in only one weight class and one age group. **************************************************************************************
Admission: Adults & Coach’s $5.00 Students $3.00 Under 5 Free
Awards: 1st Place Trophies, 2nd – 4th Place Medals, Ribbons to all participants
Team Sportsmanship Trophy
The age of all wrestlers will be determined as of January 1, 2015. The proof of age is required the day of the tournament and will be checked.
-Weight Classes-
4 and under: Weight to be determined day of tournament
6 and under: 30, 35, 39, 43, 47, 52, 55, 59, HWT
7 and 8: 47, 51, 55, 59, 63, 67, 71, 75, HWT
9 and 10: 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 95,100, 105, HWT
11 and 12: 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 110, 120, HWT
13 and 14: 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, HWT
Bracketing will be done at random. Weight classes with less than 4 wrestlers will round robin or join the next higher weight class to be determined by the bracketing team.
Collegiate rules will be followed with the following exceptions:
Age groups 4 & under, 6 & under, 7 & 8, 9 & 10 – will wrestle three – 1 minute periods.
Age groups 11 & 12, 13 & 14 will wrestle three – 1 ½ minute periods.
Overtime will be 1 minute sudden death, first points win. If still a tie first point scored in
regulation wins.

AT CHECK-IN (By 8am!!), YOU MUST PROVIDE:
- Wrestler Birth Certificate
- Proof of insurance
- Signed Release Form - Will be provided upon registration (extra copies will be available at the event)
* HRA has adopted a new registration system. You will need to create an account to register your child. If you are registering an entire team, you can add each player as a participant on your account profile.
